Indialantic, Florida…an “out-of-the-way” place where my sister lives.  It’s on the Atlantic side on a barrier island that is only about 3 miles wide.   The long drive to Florida makes it worth the few days on the beach where we can re-gather ourselves and enjoy God’s beautiful creation.  This is the walk-over from their house.  Lovely!

This is two sisters fishing in the ocean for whatever might bite.

These are the dedicated fisherman, our husbands, who are on the beach at sunrise to catch breakfast for us.

Sunrise in Indialantic.  Not too many people around.  Just you and the glory of God.

Wherever you are, enjoy the moment of quiet solace that God is still on His throne.  No matter what the world may throw at you, He is in control and will give you grace and strength to endure and be faithful.

Psalm 38:8-12
The Lord answered Job out of the storm and said, “Who shut up the sea behind doors when it burst forth from the womb, when I made the clouds its garment and wrapped it in thick darkness, when I fixed limits for it and set its doors and bars in place, when I said, ‘This far you may come and no farther, here is where your proud waves halt?’  Have you ever given orders to the morning, or shown the dawn its place?”

Lord, you are the God of all creation and we praise and bless your holy name.
