Our faith in God grows as we experience His grace, love, mercy and forgiveness. Our faith grows when we remember His acts both great and small.  The book of Psalms talks about remembering.

I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago. I will meditate on all your works and consider all your mighty deeds.  Your ways, O God, are holy. What god is so great as our God? You are the God who performs miracles; you display your power among the people.  Psalm 77:10-14

In Acts 7, a man named Stephen summarizes God’s acts for the children of Israel.   This chapter quickly covers over 2,000 years of God’s working among this Jewish nation. It is great that Acts 7 summarizes many events in the Old Testament for us because when we remember them, they can become a foundation to show us how mighty and miraculous God is.
